The hard cover binding by Jace Graf is an innovative structure known as a sewn-boards binding, invented by Gary Frost. A bi-folium of lightweight binder’s board front & back becomes an integral part of the text block, having been sewn together with the sections. The Hahnemühle Bugra brick red cover paper and the Zerkall Niddeggen end sheets are adhered to the perimeter of the boards with a narrow strip of glue, creating an elegant low-adhesive binding that opens perfectly flat without stressing the spine.
